We can take some comfort in the fact that Jews were the only group to increase support for Dems over 2020 - up to a new benchmark of 80-20. Despite all the pressures, we understood who we were dealing with.

I remember our packed gathering on the first Kabbalat Shabbat after the election in 2016. Some of us were crying and all of us were anxious. I feel like that now and I really appreciate your words in this post today.

Your words were soothing, and helpful, as they always are, Josh. But internalizing what Trump's victory shows, is very difficult. We are in the minority - not only as Jews but as sensitive, thoughtful and caring people. The Rabbis taught us צדק צדק תרדוף. Clearly, not everyone was listening.

Thanks for your words. I wish it was otherwise. I’m heart sick that my wonderful U.S. chose hate over hope. As a woman, I just can’t understand it. As a Jew, I am terrified. Well, as a Jew, I’m always terrified, just more so this morning.
