On the Days of Awe, Jews confess their sins and the community's. Therefore it is entirely appropriate to see how many boxes Donald Trump checks in the confessional prayer. Spoiler - it's all of them.
Good evening Rabbi, When you mentioned trump saying "I wanna try and get to heaven..." you forgot to mention that he was asking his followers to send him $15.00 to help. He wants a million dollars from his rich "friends" to go to his dinners; but, thinks $15.00 is good enough to have a seat at the Lord's table? Well, I guess if enough people sends him $15.00 he may be able to get a stool to sit on; but, I don't think it will be at the Lord's table.
Next, he won't pay any attention to the list because he doesn't like to read. Further, he will just say everything is just lies and a hoax. He must have some redeeming quality. I just can't think of one right now.
Well, I really don't want to think about him anymore right now.

Boy, whoever wrote these for the Days of Awe surely gave it the old college try ... mankind just hasn´t really got it yet, have they? Especially those who are sitting in the Knesset and soon celebrating the High Holidays (I hate to point fingers, but...). Trump the enabler and all of his "brain brothers" the world over who are hell-bent on destroying mankind and our planet as well, who are slowly but surely taking over our wonderful blue planet and all its creatures, have been inspired by America´s newly established weakness. How wise the writers (or Writer) of the Tanakh. I stand in awe! Thank you, Rabbi Hammerman, for another brilliant entry into your Notebook. Educational, well-researched as always!
