Three-part Zoom seminar on landmark series by Abba Eban, led by Rabbi Joshua Hammerman, beginning on November 12 at 7 PM EST. Sign up now! Space is limited.
7PM EST = 1AM CET 🫤. Thank you for helping us to access this wonderful series. I´ve worn my little Chai around my neck for a long time now. Most Germans don´t recognize it as being a Hebrew letter, thinking that it is a stylized animal of sorts. I´m always glad to inform them of its symbolism and they are always (pleasantly) surprised to learn about it. But in general here in Germany Jews have received the recommendation that they should not wear open symbols of Jewry in public, just for their own safety. A friend of mine (American) never takes off his Kippa in public and has never met any hostility. Just lucky I guess.
I read a big book by Abba Eban, published in 1984. It’s a gorgeous book, beautifully illustrated. Is this what your 3 part seminar is going to be about? Am I too late to try to attend? Do you think I’ll be able to keep up? Please let me know, thanks, I’m not zoom literate.

Very lucky, these days.

Greetings Joshua.
Interesting post, I’ve been seeing your posts pop up for quite a while now.
Given what you share, i thought you may enjoy what I do.
I share a look at obscure histories, the ones left out of mainstream interpretations.
Here’s my latest, continuing on in my recent series regarding Giants:
